The primary goal in spring training is for players to stay healthy at all costs. It is important to get in game-shape to be sure, but most fans will happily take sub-par production from key players in spring training in exchange for them starting the regular season on the field instead of the injured list. Unfortunately, the Baltimore Orioles may have just found out that even if staying healthy was the plan, that doesn't mean it is going to happen.
