Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Jeff Brantley is never one to mince words, and during Wednesday's radio broadcast 'The Cowboy' left no doubt about his feelings toward the spring training facility in Glendale, Arizona.
The Chicago White Sox were hosting the Reds for their fourth game of the Cactus League season. The White Sox share a spring training facility with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and most baseball fans know it as Camelback Ranch. But Brantley doesn't view the complex with the same type of reverence as others throughout the sport. In fact, he referred to it as a ditch.
