As per Ariel Helwani, Conor McGregor most likely won’t make his return on the UFC White House card, although the Irishman is hell-bent on being a part of it.
McGregor has claimed he has accepted a date and “no name” opponent already and has urged the promotion to send him a contract, but it looks like a June 14 return, which he wanted, is not in the cards.
The promotion is set to spend around $60 million for the June 14 card. As per Mark Shapiro, President and Chief Operating Officer of UFC parent TKO Group Holdings, the promotion won’t profit from the White House event and sees this once-in-a-lifetime card as an investment for the long run.
