After extending its winning streak to six games, red-hot Penn State faced Ohio in its third game at the Space U Classic in Orlando on Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats couldn’t slow down the blue and white’s explosive offense as the Nittany Lions raked once again.
Penn State’s offense poured it on late in the game and earned its seventh straight win with a dominating 16-1 victory over Ohio.
Sophomore Ally Meyers was tasked with settling Penn State’s offense on the mound, but the blue and white plated three runs in the first inning. Center fielder Natalie Lieto pulled a lead-off double down the left field line and despite Meyers retiring the next two Nittany Lions, they put together some two-out magic.
