Eagles' second-round tradition would prove to be perfect move in 2026 NFL Draft

When it comes to the success rate shown by Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman in nabbing impactful tight ends in the second round of the draft, the proverb "good things come in threes" might ring true this April.

Back in 2013, Zach Ertz got the call on draft day as the 35th pick, and Dallas Goedert also landed in Philadelphia via the second round as the 49th selection of the 2018 draft. With their respective NFL futures each up in the air amid free agency, the next second-round selection at tight end by Roseman could soon arrive from the Buckeye State.
