The Washington Wizards trade deadline brought plenty of excitement about the direction in which the team is headed in.
Washington made a bold swing to land four-time All-Star Trae Young in the first of two huge moves that completely altered the league-wide perspective of the team's roster over night.
The second move came with the Wizards pairing Young with a future Hall of Fame running mate in Anthony Davis, giving the playmaking guard arguably the most dominant big man he's ever played with at his disposal.
Obviously, with the Wizards at the bottom of the NBA standings, competing for a top pick this offseason is at the top of the team's to-do list down the stretch of this season, with the hope that 2026-27 will be the year that Washington can get back in the mix in the Eastern Conference.
